This Amazon is a very clever pet. They are really rewarding companions and will give you hours of joy. They are very intelligent and easy to train, but they do need a firm hand. They are famous for their ability to mimic both speech and song. Double Yellow-headed Amazons are one of the top talking amazons! They can be noisy, but a hand reared bird, that is kept busy, is usually quieter.
